چکیده

Abstract Aims The purpose of secondary breast reconstruction is to restore patient’s integrity. Autologous has become the superior method reconstruction, especially in cases with inadequate skin envelope and post-radiotherapy tissue damage. A 3D-template-enhanced autologous restoration innervation was developed at our department. Methods Thirty patients are planned be included prospective double-blinded study. performed deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) free flap using 3D template from contralateral healthy breast. Additionally, coaptation anterior branch 3rd intercostal nerve dominant lateral innervating DIEP performed. Breast-Q questionnaires collected before after sensation assessed on regular intervals. Results preliminary results show an improvement reconstructed higher patient satisfaction score. Prior abstract submission, no significant complications have been noted, one patent abnormal reported. Conclusions According previous studies, innervated express level as contributes significantly satisfaction. Furthermore, use model produces that traditional methods. Preliminary showed combination both methods improved regarding aesthetic outcome functional result. With appropriate selection this type optimised should

Introduction: Lipofilling is a useful surgical technique for breast reconstruction. However, there remains a concern regarding the long-term safety of fat grafting with its stem cell population in breast cancer patients. This study evaluated the safety of lipofilling procedure in breast reconstruction. Materials and Methods: We conducted this observational study that included patients who under...

Symmetrical breast reconstruction: analysis of secondary procedures after reconstruction with implants and autologous tissue.

In our original article evaluating symmetry in breast reconstruction, we evaluated the role of three-dimensional digital photography.1 Women were stratified into two groups, those who had three-dimensional photography and those who did not. Comparisons included initial volume and contour symmetry, secondary procedures, and final volume and contour symmetry. It was concluded that three-dimension...

Breast Reconstruction Information TIMING OF BREAST RECONSTRUCTION

Current trends towards less radical surgery for breast cancer, preserving the pectoralis major muscle and overlying skin, along with better reconstructive techniques, have made breast reconstruction at the time of mastectomy a standard procedure. All of the reconstructive techniques traditionally available can be safely performed in the immediate setting. Several studies have shown that the add...

The Role of Latissimus Dorsi Myocutaneous Flaps in Secondary Breast Reconstruction After Breast-Conserving Surgery

OBJECTIVE Secondary reconstruction after breast-conserving surgery is generally challenging because of the nature of irradiated tissue. The aim of this study was to validate the use of latissimus dorsi myocutaneous (LDM) flaps for secondary breast reconstruction after breast-conserving surgery. METHODS Fifteen consecutive patients who underwent secondary reconstruction with an LDM flap after ...

The time interval between the intervention and relapse can range between 2 weeks and 4 years and, in most cases, at the time of diagnosis there is also carcinomatosis or distant metastasis. In general, prognosis is poor, with a mean survival of 10 months, and 5-year survival is 10%. In the case that we describe, the cholecystectomy was difficult due to chronic inf...
